This one-of-a-kind whisky is smoked with sun-baked Texas scrub oak using our own secret process. The result is a whisky full of fresh, youthful corn and light fruit notes married with a bold smokiness. Whether you like smokey whiskies, or just have a penchant for big, new flavors, Brimstone is sure to be memorable pour. Aromas of masa, Texas campfire and powdered sugar backed by stone fruit, peppery spice and mint. Bold yet balanced, Brimstone is yet another Texas original from Balcones. Notes of bacon, barbecue and pulled pork that are bold but not overpowering. Complemented by notes of chili pepper, brown sugar, cinnamon and graham crackers and lead to a smooth, warming finish.

It's no secret to brewers and chef's alike: ingredients matter. We have always meticulously sought out ingredients for their richness in flavor. From blue corn grown in New Mexico to the first Texas-grown malted barley, we aim to get the most out of our raw materials because they make a better whisky. We make every effort to preserve the luscious flavors of these ingredients in our spirits, so that each sip is a decadent expression of their original state. Every spirit we make adheres to that philosophy: it should be recognizable and delectable.
