Crafted with care and expertise, this reposado tequila undergoes a slow and natural fermentation process, utilizing a unique yeast strain exclusive to Casa Campo Azul. Following fermentation, the tequila is distilled in stainless steel stills with a copper interior, allowing for a slow and precise distillation that captures the essence of the agave.

After distillation, Campo Azul 1940 Tequila Reposado is aged in exhausted American white oak barrels, which were previously used solely for aging tequila. This aging process imparts depth and complexity to the tequila, allowing it to develop rich flavors and a smooth, refined character.
