Heaven Hill Distillers is unique. They are one of the oldest and largest Bourbon distillers in the world, they have the second largest standing inventory of aging Bourbon, and they have grown to become the seventh largest supplier of Spirits in the US. For millions of fans, Elijah Craig is the their Kentucky dram of choice. Everything they do is small batch, meticulously crafted, and delicious. And so everyone was ecstatic when they added Rye Whiskey to their core line-up. Elijah Craig Kentucky Straight Rye starts with a mash bill of 51% rye, 35% corn, and 14% barley. This mash bill is becoming a go-to standard for Kentucky-style Rye Whiskies. It is well aged and at 47% ABV it is smooth and approachable neat but strong enough to stand up to modern cocktails without losing its man-card. And it was good enough to receive a "Platinum Best of Class" honor at the 2020 SIP Awards.
