History
J.P. Wiser's Canadian Rye Whisky Triple Barrel is a unique trip rye whiskey that is bottled at 45% ABV. It is a version with rye content of 62% with wheat and corn. This particular whisky is triple-barreled featuring distillates matured in used Canadian whisky, first-fill bourbon, and virgin oak casks. Exclusive to the United States. Canadian rye whisky; World Whisky Awards 2017. It was first produced in 1857, before Canada was even Canada. J.P. Wiser was distilling and barreling Whiskey in Prescott, Ontario. By the early 1900's, J.P. Wiser was selling Whiskey all over the world, growing to become Canada's third largest distiller. His choice to age his Whiskey longer than others at the time led to both its quality and its popularity. Today, we care about quality as much as our founder, from grain to glass, and we're proud to carry the legacy of J.P. Wiser's forward.
